Hutchison had a good spell in Souness' team in 1992/93, playing 42 games and scoring ten goals. He was a good passer of the ball, a fierce competitor and possessed enough skills up his sleeve to impress the most ardent fan. However, a long list of unsavoury off the field incidents ended his Liverpool career, perhaps his crowning achievement displaying his "crown jewels" in a city centre bar. He later gained international recognition with Scotland. In the summer of 2009 Hutchison participated in the "Celebrity Soccer Six" tournament at Stamford Bridge. The S*N was represented and Reds were shocked to see one Don Hutchison in their side and to boot on the twentieth anniversary year of the Hillsborough disaster. Some people clearly know no shame!
