The winger arrived from his hometown club, Derry City, in the summer of 2022. Kone-Doherty boasted 29 goals and six assists in 64 appearances for the U-18s and U-21s when he was included in the first-team matchday squad to face PSV on the final matchday of the group stage of the revamped Champions League. Kone-Doherty continued his steady progression at Liverpool during the 2024/25 season, building on his reputation as one of the club’s most promising young attackers. In the UEFA Youth League, he made seven appearances, scoring three goals and contributing an assist, showcasing his ability to influence games in the final third.
