Player Profile

The outside-right became a member of the Liverpool team during the club's first-ever season in the Football League in 1893/94. Prior to joining, Dick had the distinction of becoming the first player in the Scottish league to score a penalty when he was with Greenock Morton. Dick figured in 11 games as Liverpool won their first League honour in the Second Division, at the first time of asking. He played seven consecutive games from late October to early December but was only chosen to play on four occasions in the second part of the season.

After returning to Scotland, Douglas ran a motor company and was a director at Kilmarnock FC. He died on 24 June 1940.
