A centre-half who had to wait nine years for his Liverpool debut because of World War II. Easdale made two League appearances for the club during the 1946/47 first division championship-winning season, deputising for regular Laurie Hughes. Easdale covered for the experienced Hughes in the away match with Stoke City on Christmas Day 1946 and the home fixture against Derby County on 22 March 1947.
