Player Profile
Full-back Hoare made seven League appearances for Liverpool during the 1903/04 season but Billy Dunlop and Alf West were firm favourites in the full-back positions. Hoare trained as a carpenter and a joiner and played amateur football at Southampton Oxford when southern league Southampton took a liking to him. He only played occasionally in his three spells at the Saints. Hoare ran a tobacconist‘s shop in Woolston in Southampton and returned to amateur football.
